Facilities

• MRI machine 1.5 Tesla :For MRI Scanning of whole body, all joints and soft tissues, brain and spine, contrast MRI. Functional MRI. MRI-CSF flow study. Cardiac MRI. MR Angiography.
• 128 Slice CT scanning machine : Whole body CT Scanning, Brain, Spine, Chest, HRCT of chest, HRCT of temporal bones, Contrast CT, Paediatric CT Scanning, CT angiography of whole body, Cardiac CT.
• Ultrasound with colour Doppler :Three high end machines. We have high frequency hockey stick ultrasound transducer for dedicated musculoskeletal ultrasound. We have facility for doing ultrasound elastography (ARFI).

  • Two 800 mA X-ray Machines, one with Image Intensifier and fluoroscopy.
  • Two 630 mA X-ray Machines with Image Intensifier and fluoroscopy.All Special X-ray Investigations, like barium studies, IVU, Urethrography and other contrast studies are done.
  • Two 300 mA x-ray machines.

Academic progress

DNB in Radiology was started in year 2004, and continued with 2 seats per year upto year 2007 (last year of admission). MD Radiodiagnosis started in year 2011 with 2 seats. Presently there are 4 admissions per year .
